The Founder:
Adv. & CPA Shlomi Vaknin

Shlomi Vaknin is a Certified Public Accountant since 2000 and a licensed attorney since 2008. He held several positions at the Israel Tax Authority, ultimately serving for nearly a decade as National Inspector in the VAT Professional Division at the Authority's headquarters.

He then spent 18 years as a senior partner at a leading tax law firm. During that time, he led VAT cases that resulted in judgments by the District Courts and the Supreme Court, and as counsel for industry associations he conducted negotiations with the Israel Tax Authority that concluded in sector-wide settlements.

In 2024, he established Shlomi Vaknin & Co. He serves as Co-Chair of the VAT Committee of the Israel Bar Association and is a member of the Indirect Taxes Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel.
